The specialist epilepsy nurse offers help, support and information for parents and carers of children who have been diagnosed with epilepsy with or without learning difficulties. Advice and training to statutory and voluntary organisations.

Home visits are provided by this service.

Interpretation and translation services can be arranged by staff, for users of this service.

Referral Procedure: To be referred, patients must have a Norfolk GP and be under the care of a Paediatrician for their Epilepsy care.
How Service is Delivered: Nurse-led Epilepsy Transition clinic with the Children's and Adult Epilepsy Specialist Nurses.
Opening Times: Monday to Friday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. There is an answering machine all times.
The service requires callers to leave a message with patient's name, date of birth and contact details and reason for contacting the service. Calls are triaged and a call back request will be generated.
Parking and Transport: Onsite parking spaces are available.
You can get to this service using public transport. For example, buses or trains.
You can get to this service using community transport. For example, volunteer buses or taxis.
Access and Facilities: Main entrance is accessible by wheelchair.

Special Educational Needs Transition: Transition to Adult Services is discussed with the young person and their families/carers and a referral is made to a Consultant Neurologist
The Young Person will be offered an appointment in the Nurse Led transition clinic with both the Children's and Adult Epilepsy Specialist Nurse
Compliments / Complaints: The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) can listen to your issues, concerns, compliments or suggestions, resolve problems where possible, and feed back to services to aid service development.
