The MSK Occupational Therapy (OT) Service provides assessment, treatment, advice, education and support on a range of Musculoskeletal problems in a clinic setting. This is mainly hand and wrist problems resulting from soft tissue injuries, work related injuries, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. Also OT for chronic pain management.

Key areas for this specialist Occupational Therapy service include rheumatology and upper limb orthopaedic conditions. Key interventions include hand therapy and upper limb splinting for musculoskeletal conditions.

Interpretation and translation services can be arranged by staff, for users of this service.

Referral Procedure: To use this service, you will need to be referred by a health professional. This means you must see your doctor or nurse. They will send your details to a service. Your doctor or nurse will refer you to the service that is the most suitable for your health needs. The service will then contact you to make an appointment or explain what will happen next.

Opening Times: Monday to Friday, 8.00 a.m - 4.30 p.m.

  • Aylsham Health Centre
  • Kelling Hospital 8:30 a.m – 4:30 p.m

Compliments / Complaints: The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) can listen to your issues, concerns, compliments or suggestions, resolve problems where possible, and feed back to services to aid service development.
