The Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (EPAU) provides care for women whose pregnancy may need additional support between 6 - 16 weeks. The EPAU provides expert scanning and counselling facilities for women with early pregnancy pain and bleeding. The EPAU also supports these women in making informed choices about managing various conditions that lead to early pregnancy bleeding and pain. Interpretation and translation services can be arranged by staff for users of this service. Information leaflet
