East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) is a helicopter emergency medical service provider covering Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. The charity operate two H145 helicopters and can reach anywhere in the region within 25 minutes. Their crew, consisting of two pilots, a doctor and a critical care paramedic, take advanced clinical care directly to patients who have suffered life-threatening or life-changing accidents or medical emergencies and can then transfer them to the most appropriate hospital for their needs. EAAA is a charity, relying on the kindness of the community to fund their life-saving operation.

The Aftercare Team is here to support you and your family following an incident in which East Anglian Air Ambulance attended. We can help you understand what happened to you before you were admitted to hospital, put you in touch with the crew who treated you, and direct you to other organisations who may be of additional support to you. We are also here to support families who have lost loved ones, provide someone to talk to, and where appropriate, answer questions. Please visit the website for more information or contact details.

How Service is Delivered: EAAA take their highly skilled clinical team by helicopter or rapid response vehicle to patients in East Anglia who have suffered a life-changing or life-threatening accident or medical emergency. They also deliver first aid training to community groups and businesses to help improve the chain of survival.

Compliments / Complaints: The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) can listen to your issues, concerns, compliments or suggestions, resolve problems where possible and feed back to services to aid service development.
