Rheumatology Specialist Nurse Clinics are for all patients with rheumatological diseases from the age of 16 years. Rheumatology Specialist Nurses have extensive skills in rheumatology care and provide clinics for education, review and monitoring of disease and treatments as well as education regarding the disease and support and advice for patients and carers.

Interpretation and translation services can be arranged by staff, for users of this service.

How Service is Delivered: Telephone clinics, Face to face Clinics, non-urgent nurses' advice line
Opening Times: Norfolk & Norwich: Monday to Friday, 8.30 a.m - 5 p.m.
Non urgent Advice line for patients: Monday to Thursday, 08.30-12.00 and Friday 08.30-11.00

This is an answerphone service. Admin Assistant will screen all messages and will allocate 2 hr time slot for one of our Rheumatology Nurse to call you back. This will be confirmed by text message or telephone call. Your telephone appointment will be within 48 hrs (excluding weekends and bank holiday). However, this may be longer in periods of high clinical demand and staff shortage.

Call back appointments from advice line: Monday -Thursday 09.00-12.20 and 13.00-15.20; Friday 09.00-12.20.
Parking and Transport: There is limited onsite parking, however, there is a Park and Ride Service from Costessey. Accessible by public and community transport.
Access and Facilities: Main entrance, lifts and toilet facilities are well signposted and wheelchair accessible. There is a loop hearing aid system.
Compliments / Complaints: The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) can listen to your issues, concerns, compliments or suggestions, resolve problems where possible, and feed back to services to aid service development.
