These services are provided:
* Sexual health and contraception advice
* Free contraception including emergency contraception, condoms, pills, IUD and implant fitting and removal
* Post Natal, contraception and sexual health advice
* Pregnancy testing
* Advice and referral for an NHS funded termination of pregnancy
* Sexual history and screening for sexually transmitted infections if appropriate (testing for Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, HIV, Hep B, Syphillis). If unsuitable a referral to a GUM clinic will be made.
* Treatment for Chlamydia (if appropriate) may be offered. If not appropriate a referral to GUM will be made.
* Free STI test kits delivered to your door.
* Part of the 'Your C-Card' scheme

You can access the service whether you're male or female and no matter what your sexuality is – whether you're having sex, thinking about having sex, or if you're just curious. Your C Card is a free, friendly and confidential service for 13 - 25 year olds.

Interpretation and translation services can be arranged by staff, for users of this service.

Referral Procedure: * Self referral or GP/gynae referral by letter to the clinic.
* Telephone referrals from other agencies.
How Service is Delivered: Patients are generally seen in a clinic but some advice can be given over the phone.
Opening Times: Monday - Sit and wait: 9.15 a.m - 12 p.m. Appointments: 1 p.m - 5 p.m. Telephone lines: 9 a.m - 5 p.m.
Tuesday - Appointments: 11.30 a.m - 2.30 p.m. Sit and wait: 3.30 p.m - 7 p.m. Telephone lines: 9 a.m - 7 p.m.
Wednesday - Appointments: 9.30 p.m - 5 p.m. Telephone lines: 9 a.m - 5 p.m.
Thursday - Appointments: 9.30 a.m - 11.30 a.m and 5 p.m - 7 p.m. Sit and wait: 1 p.m - 4 p.m. Telephone lines: 9 a.m - 7 p.m.
Friday - Closed
Saturday - Appointments: 9.30 a.m - 1 p.m. Telephone lines: 9 a.m - 1 p.m.
Closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays

Compliments / Complaints: Our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) supports patients, their families, carers and our staff by:
* listening to your queries and concerns in confidence
* giving you information an advice about local health services
* finding solutions to any problems you may be having, as quickly as possible
* directing you to other sources of help
* advising you how to make a formal complaint
* ensuring that your comments, concerns and compliments are heard and used to improve the Trust's services

If something is troubling you:
Step 1: Try raising the concern with the person providing your care in the first instance.
Step 2: If you have tried this and you feel that they were unable to help you, or you don't feel able to discuss you concerns direct with the person involved, then contact PALS who can raise concerns on your behalf.
Step 3: If you still feel dissatisfied and you wish to make a complaint, PALS can give you information about the complaints procedure.
