Most people with leg ulcers are dealt with by the community nursing services but a few people require help from specialist vascular doctors or nurses. A leg ulcer can be defined as an open wound on the lower leg that fails to show signs of healing within 2 weeks. This service is for use by the Leg Ulcer UEA course trained nurses to refer patients for treatment. No public access. Referral form needs to be completed with up to date ABPI measurement please. Interpretation and translation services can be arranged by staff, for users of this service.
