Most people with leg ulcers are dealt with by the community nursing services but a few people require help from specialist vascular doctors or nurses. A leg ulcer can be defined as an open wound on the lower leg that fails to show signs of healing within 2 weeks.

This service is for use by the Leg Ulcer UEA course trained nurses to refer patients for treatment. No public access. Referral form needs to be completed with up to date ABPI measurement please.

Interpretation and translation services can be arranged by staff, for users of this service.

Referral Procedure: Referral by Leg Ulcer trained nurses only.
How Service is Delivered: Outpatient clinic at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Cromer Hospital, James Paget Hospital or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King's Lynn.
Opening Times: Service is provided at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital Cromer Hospital, James Paget and Kings Lynn Hospitals. An answerphone or email is available for use outside of normal working hours.
Parking and Transport: Onsite parking available. Accessible by public and community transport.
Access and Facilities: Main entrance, lift and toilet facilities are well sign posted and wheelchair accessible.
Compliments / Complaints: The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) can listen to your issues, concerns, compliments or suggestions, resolve problems where possible, and feed back to services to aid service development.
