The James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides a full range of district general hospital services for the population of Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and the surrounding areas. This includes the many visitors to this holiday destination. Great Yarmouth and Waveney covers a population of just over 250,000 local residents, from Martham in the North, to Southwold in the South. The geography spans two counties – Great Yarmouth and Gorleston in Norfolk, and Lowestoft and South Waveney in Suffolk.

Interpretation and translation services through INTRAN can be arranged by staff, for users of this service.

Parking and Transport: Car parking: Charges are as follows: 30 minutes FREE Up to 2 hours - £3.00 2 to 3 hours - £3.50 3 to 4 hours - £4.50 Over 4 hours and up to 24 hours - £6.50 Parking can be paid for with cash, by credit/ debit card or by contactless payment via your card or phone. More information on using public transport to access the hospital is available online.
Access and Facilities: Main entrance is well signposted and wheelchair accessible.
Loop hearing aid system available.
Wheelchair accessible toilet facilities and a lift.
Changing places and gender neutral facilities available in the hospital foyer
