Referral Procedures (Heron):
Make an appointment with the most appropriate health professional such as the GP or health visitor. We recommend taking notes about your child to your appointment for discussion. <br /> Your GP and/or health professional may ask you to speak to your child’s school and gather any appropriate information. This may also be requested once a referral is accepted. Your doctor or nurse will refer you to the service that is the most suitable for your health needs. The service will then contact you to make an appointment or explain what will happen next.
